Gaston Wayne O’Neal, 72 passed away on Friday, March 29, 2024 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, April 14, 2024 at Butler Funeral Home Chapel in Stedman.  The family will receive friends following the service.

Wayne was born in Gulf Port, Mississippi, where he lived for many years.  He is preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; and 2 sisters.

He loved boats, fishing, classic cars and tractors.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Annette Haire O’Neal of the home; 6 children; 1 step-son; 1 sister; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
