Mr. Gary Albert Hensley, Sr. 72 of Salemburg passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at his home.

A private graveside will be held for the family on Thursday, January 13 at Roseboro Cemetery with Rev. Donnie Myers officiating.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6-8 PM at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro.

Mr. Hensley was a native of Logan County, West Virginia.  He was the son of George William and Earnestine Meek Hensley.  He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Vivian Sue Tackett Hensley; brother, Larry Allen Hensley and his sister, Deborah Adkins.  He was a framer in the Drywall Construction.

He is survived by four children, Mylissia Jane Mowl (Timothy) of Tennessee, Georgie Ann Hensley, Misty Hensley Corbett (Thomas) of Salemburg and Gary Albert Hensley, Jr. (Bridgett) of Ammon; sister, Paula J. Myers (Donnie) of Tennessee; brother-in-law, Gary Adkins of Tennessee; nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Butler Funeral Home, P.O. Box 638, Roseboro, NC 28382 to help the family off set the funeral expenses.
