Mr. Gary Carson Fisher, 59

FAYETTEVILLE Gary Carson Fisher, 59, of Fayetteville lost his battle with cancer on February 21, 2015 and entered into his heavenly home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 25 at Mill Creek Baptist Church in Roseboro with Rev. David Williams, Rev. Rob Wingo and Rev. Jerry Fisher officiating. Burial will follow at Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery of Fayetteville. Gary leaves behind his wife, Emily Fisher of the home; daughters, Genice Boyle (husband Bruce) of Leland, Sandra Wade (husband Tommy) of Erwin; step-daughter, Ashley Johnson (husband Jerry) of Roseboro; step-son, William (Willie) Melvin of Roseboro; mother, Elsie Child of Leland; sister, Sherry Fowler of Carolina Beach; brothers, Larry Fisher of Autryville and Terry Fisher of Hope Mills; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and close friends. He was predeceased by his father, James Carson Fisher of Stedman. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:45 P.M., Wednesday, February 25 at Mill Creek Baptist Church. Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 6535 Clinton Rd., Stedman, N.C. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 25 at Mill Creek Baptist Church in Roseboro with Rev. David Williams, Rev. Rob Wingo and Rev. Jerry Fisher officiating. Burial will follow at Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery of Fayetteville.
