Mrs. Gail Royal Parker, 71

ROSEBORO

Mrs. Gail Royal Parker, 71 of 706 N. Broad Street, Roseboro, passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

The funeral will be held at 3:00 pm Friday at Roseboro United Methodist Church with Reverend Bobby Herring and Reverend Andy Wood officiating. Interment will follow at Roseboro Cemetery.

Born on July 17, 1945 in Sampson County, she was the daughter of the late Amos Harrison and Reba Holland Royal. She is also preceded in death by her son, Nelson Parker. She worked with Sampson Community College as a Defense Driving Coordinator.

She is survived by her husband, Joe Frank Parker; son, Joey Parker and wife Edie of China Grove; granddaughter, Ashley Parker; and step-grandson, Ryan Jacobs.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro and other times at the home.
