Gail Elaine (Haley) Horne

Gail Haley Horne, 64 went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 08, 2025 at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill with her family by her side.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM Sunday, January 12, 2025 at Butler Funeral Home Chapel inn Stedman, officiating will be Pastor Phillip Bowden and Pastor Fay Bowden.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 3:50 PM Sunday at the funeral home prior to the service.

Gail is preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Shirley Haley.

Gail was a member of Roseboro Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church.  She loved her family, her church family and will be truly missed by all who knew her.  She also loved the beach and had an obsession with flamingos.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, William “Bill” Horne of the home; daughter Hannah Horne Smith & husband, Brody of Autryville; and grandson, Shawn Barefoot of Autryville; step children, Leslie and Misty Horne; step grandchildren, Adriann and Davis Jackson, Lindsey Strickland, Gracie and Austin Cox; and her brother, Vincent Haley.
