Mr. Frederick Otto Smith, Jr., 80 passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at The Gardens of Roseboro Nursing Home.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, January 17, 2021 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro, officiating will be Rev. Tommy Honeycutt.  Burial will follow at Cross Creek Cemetery in Fayetteville.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM Sunday at the funeral home prior to the service.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Frederick Otto Smith, Sr. and Frances Larue Smith.

He was retired with over 24 years of service in the United States Navy.

He is survived by his daughters, Robin McLaurin of Wade and Renee Carter of Fayetteville; and a special cousin, Helen Sessoms of Autryville.

The family would like to thank the staff and the residents of The Gardens of Roseboro for the loving care they provided Mr. Smith.
