STEDMAN

Mr. Franklin Elwood Faircloth, 69 of 6673 Sandy Creek Road, Stedman, passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at his home.

The funeral will be held 3:00 pm Friday, September 11, 2015 at Magnolia Baptist Church, 1021 Magnolia Church Road, Stedman, with Rev. Jason Whitfield and Rev. Sammy McLamb officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.

Mr. Faircloth was born January 19, 1946 in Cumberland County to the late J.T. and Rena Autry Faircloth. He is preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Janice Ruth Faircloth; and two brothers, J.M. Faircloth and John David Faircloth. He worked with the N.C. Department of Transportation for 34 years.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Davis Faircloth of the home; one daughter, Lori Faircloth Starling and husband Chris of Stedman; one sister, Helen Rohme of Stedman; and two grandchildren, Riley Starling and Kaylee Starling.

The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday evening at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman and other times at the home.
