Mr. Franklin Wayne Baker, 67

AMMON Mr. Franklin Wayne Baker, 67, of 7937 Old Fayetteville Road, died January 21, 2013, at Bladen County Hospital. The funeral will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, January 25, 2013 at Windsor United Methodist Church with Rev. Neill Smith, Rev. Jonathan Mills, and Rev. Chris O'briant officiating. Mr. Baker was born on July 18, 1945, in New Hanover County to the late William and Annie Mae Smith Baker. He is survived by: his wife, Nita Smith Baker of the home; his daughter, Lynn Baker-Cole of Tampa, Fl; two brothers, Wilton Baker of Elizabethtown and Billy Baker of Roseboro; one sister, Jean Russ and husband, Lewis of Fayetteville; granddaughter, Kayla Cole of Tampa, Fl; step-daughter, Janice Russ Johnson of Bladenboro, step-son Paul Russ of White Oak and four step grandchildren. The family will receive friends Thursday evening at Windsor United Methodist Church from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Services entrusted by Butler Funeral Home 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro, NC.
