Mr. Francis Lee Rideout, Sr., 81 passed away Monday, July 22, 2019 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.

A celebration of life service will be held at 12:00pm Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at Butler Funeral Home Chapel in Stedman, officiating will be Pastor Travis Byrd and Pastor Cameron McGill.   Burial with military honors will follow at Hope Mills Cemetery.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Chesley Rideout, Jr. and Meredith Rideout; and his wife, Janette Faye Rideout.

The family will receive friends from 11:00am to 11:50am Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service.

Francis was a veteran of the United States Army.

He is survived by his sons, Francis Lee Rideout, Jr. & wife, Lynn of Harrells and James Keith Rideout & wife, Jessica of Stedman; daughters, Yvonne Williams & husband, Ronald, Rhonda Bullock & husband, Bill, Bobby Jo Stanley & husband, Keith and Angela Rideout; 14 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to help the family with funeral expenses.
