Frances (Spell) Hall

Mrs. Frances Spell Hall, 87 of Fayetteville passed away on Monday, August 12, 2019 at the Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM Thursday at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro with Rev. Lutrell Spell officiating.  Burial will follow in the Spell Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from on Thursday from 1:00 PM until 1:50 PM at the funeral home.

Mrs. Hall was born on March 15, 1932 in Sampson County and was the daughter of Libby Carr Spell and Florence Butler Spell.  She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, James Preston Hall, her step mother, Marcie Tyndall Spell, brothers, Festus Spell, Uriah Spell, Earl Spell, Edwin McKenzie; and sisters, Mildred Spell, Mable Spell Parker and Patricia Spell Hall.  She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her son, Donald Hall and wife, Crystal of Hartsville, SC; sister, Ora "Sis" Roegiers of CT; brother, Lutrell Spell of Fremont; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
