Mrs. Frances K. Guinn, 79

SALEMBURG Mrs. Frances K. Guinn, 79 of Salemburg passed away Friday, December 5, 2014 at SECU Hospice House in Smithfield. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, December 8, 2014 at Zoar Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church with Pastor Randy Barker and Pastor Jim Brinkley officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Salemburg. Mrs. Guinn was born on August 8, 1935 in Sampson County to the late Wiley C. and Chellie Holland Knowles. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Victor Robert Guinn; brothers, Mixton Knowles, Earl Knowles, Wiley Dixon Knowles, Sam Arthur Knowles and David Linwood Knowles. She is survived by daughters, Vickie Edwards and husband, Mark of Clinton and Sandy Christianson and husband, Chris of Salemburg; six grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; brother, CT Knowles of Salemburg; and sisters, Retha Hayes of Salemburg and Zola Ann Crumpler of Clinton. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro and other times at 135 Hollandtown Road, Salemburg.
