Ms. Frances Pauline Smith, 71 went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 11, 2024 at her daughter’s home surrounded by her family.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, November 14, 2024 at Butler Funeral Home Chapel, officiating will be Rev. Andy Wood.  Burial will follow at Roseboro Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM at the funeral home prior to the service.

Pauline is preceded in death by her parents, Iverson Carlisle and Cleo Autry Carlisle; husband, Jonathan Smith; brothers, Hubert and Aaron Carlisle; and a sister, Patricia Sills.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Johnny Hall, Jr. of Roseboro; daughters, Teresa Von Cannon & husband, Harvey of Stedman and Wendy Blalock & husband, Eric of Raleigh; brothers, Freddie Carlisle and Oliver Carlisle both of Fayetteville; 9 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.
