Mr. Floyd Brady Sessoms, 90, of Hope Mills, went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 16, 2025 at Valley Hospice House in Fayetteville.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at Butler Funeral Home Chapel, burial will follow at Mill Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Floyd was a native of Sampson County, the son of Ernest and Letha Sessoms. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Joan Marie Sessoms, and Brother Randall Carson Sessoms He was survived by his daughter, Kimberly Sessoms Coleman and her husband David; three grandchildren Brayden, David III, and Emma Kyrsten Coleman, and a sister, Sally McCauley Brown and sister in law Eldora He was a bus driver for Trailways and received the Million Mile Award. He drove for Greyhound as well.

Floyd loved many things in life to include His two Dogs Sparky and Buddy. He loved playing golf, talking on the phone to his friends, an ice cold Pepsi and a Kit Kat Bar. His laughter was something that stayed with you and brought smiles to Many. He loved his family, He referred to himself as a good ole country boy. He will be deeply missed.
