ROSEBORO
Mr. Floyd Franklin Runion, 74 of 110 Runion Lane, died on Saturday, May 22, 2010 at the Carolina East/Quinn Hospice Center in Kenansville.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 24, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home with Rev. Chris O'Briant officiating. Burial will follow in the Roseboro Cemetery.
Mr. Runion was born on December 20, 1935 in Shenandoah, Virginia to Lewis and Gladys Edna Sonifrank Runion. He was the retired Owner and Operator of Runion Scrap Metal Recycling.
Mr. Runion is survived by: his wife, Patricia Runion of the home; one daughter, Karen Renee McClenny of Roseboro; two sons, Steve Runion of Albemarle, and Andy Runion of Roseboro; one brother, Jerry Edward Runion of Broadway, VA; six sisters, Wilma "Wimp" Davis of Virginia, Joyce Putnam of West Virginia, Ada Sherman, Doris Jean Runion, Mary Henry and Janice Andrews, all of Virginia; six grandchildren, Amanda McClenny, Tiffany McClenny, Jamie McClenny, Jessica Runion, Nikki Runion and Andrew Runion, II; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro, and other times at the home.
