Mr. Floyd Ronnie Edwards, Sr. 77 went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Concord Baptist Church, officiating will be Rev. W.A. Creech & Rev. Earl Davis.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the church prior to the service.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Hampton and Lena Edwards.

Floyd worked for over 22 years with Hanson Aggregates Quarry in Lillington.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 58 years, Mary Edwards; children, Floyd R. Edwards, Jr., Michael Wayne Edwards, Rhonda Martin & husband, Jeff, and Sheila McDaris & husband, Roger; grandchildren, Michael Wayne Edwards, Sr., Joseph Edwards, C.J. Edwards, Amy McDaniels, Christy Santos, Katie Martin, Cody Martin, Colton Martin, Sandy Eason, Sandy Woodall & Matt McDaris; 20 great grandchildren; brother, Garland A. Edwards; and numerous nieces and nephews.
