Florence Henson Fairfax, 81 went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 24, 2022 with her family by her side.

A graveside service will be held 2:30 PM Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at Cumberland Union Baptist Church Cemetery, officiating will be Rev. John Blackman, Jr.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home and will go in funeral procession to the cemetery.

Florence was born in Baltimore, Maryland to the late George William Henson and Florence Marie Daniels Henson.  She is also preceded in death by her sisters, Patricia Wagner and Norma Hayes; and a grandchild, Patricia Marie Fairfax.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Orville Fairfax, Sr.; children, John Gary Johnson & wife, Violet, David Allen Johnson & wife, Tealea, Glenn Johnson & wife, Jacqueline, George Johnson, Orville Fairfax, Jr. & wife, Tammy and Alfred Fairfax & wife, Holly; 13 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and a sister, Joanne Blyton & husband, Don.
