Mr. Fletcher Gordon Smith,, 69 Jr.

Elizabethtown Mr. Fletcher Gordon Smith, Jr., 69, of 804 S. Poplar Street, died on Friday, June 24, 2011 at Poplar Heights Care and Rehabilitation Center. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 27, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Sweet Home Holiness Church. Burial will follow in the Bethel Cemetery. Mr. Smith was a native of Bladen County and the son of the late Fletcher G. Smith, Sr. and Sudie Robinson Smith. He was preceded in death by at brother, Harold Smith. Mr. Smith is survived by: son, Ben Smith, of White Lake; sister, Shirley Matthews, of Elizabethtown; brother, Neil Robinson, of Ammon. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4:00 till 6:00 PM at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro and at other times at 1207 Willard Tatum Road, Elizabethtown.
