Dr. Fe Garcia Lanuza-Cox, 87

FAYETTEVILLE Dr. Fe Garcia Lanuza-Cox, 87, of Fayetteville died Tuesday, February 17 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. She was a retired Medical Doctor and Doctor of Psychiatry. She was a native of Minila, Philippines, the daughter of the late Florencio Lanuza and Soledad Geurrero Garcia. She moved to The United States in 1959 to begin her hospital residency. Here she met her husband, the late Herbert M. Cox, Jr. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, February 22 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman with Rev. Archie Barringer officiating. Survivors include: two sons, John Philipp Cox of Fayetteville and Christopher L. Cox of Simpsonville, SC; one daughter, Virginia Rosen of Collegeville, PA; six grandchildren, Brianna Cox, Gavin Cox, Ayden Cox, Cody Cox, Christopher R. Cox and Jordyn Rosen. Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 6535 Clinton Rd., Stedman, NC. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, February 22 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman with Rev. Archie Barringer officiating.
