Faye Melvin Lucas, 82 went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 11, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family.
Graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, July 20, 2024 at Old Bluff Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Faye is preceded in death by her parents, David and Ethel Melvin; and her sister, Hilda B. Dudley.
Faye graduated from Stedman High School, was a longtime member of Bluff Presbyterian Church, and she retired from Sprint as a service representative with 35 years of service.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Jimmy Lucas of the home; son, Stephen O. Lucas & wife, Anna Michelle Lucas of Eastover; daughter, Tammy Stoeckley & husband, Gene of Fuquay Varina; grandchildren, Aaron Casha and Megan Beach; great grandchildren, Asher and Mason Beach; and her brother, David C. Melvin, Jr.
Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 6535 Clinton Road, Stedman, NC 28391.
