Mrs. Faye P. Cain, 63

ROSEBORO Mrs. Faye Parker Cain, 63 of 709 N. Broad Street, passed away on Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at Duke Medical Center in Durham. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2008 at 3:00 P.M. at Mt. Moriah United Methodist Church with the Rev. Andy Wood, Rev. Tim Reaves, and Rev. James McLean officiating. Burial will follow at Roseboro Cemetery. Mrs. Cain was born in 1944 and was a native of Cumberland County. She is preceded in death by her parents, Dalton Fay and Alma Lois Parker, and her grandmother, Nellie C. Parker. She was a member of Mt. Moriah United Methodist Church where she served as organist. She retired from Sampson Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Cain is survived by: her husband, Robert B. Cain of the home; one daughter, Roberta Cain Parker and husband Ken, of Roseboro; two granddaughters, Meghan Elizabeth Parker, and Sydney Danielle Parker, both of Roseboro; her step-mother, Maxine P. Cain of Goldsboro; and two half brothers, Alvin Parker of Charlotte, and Dewey Parker of Hammond, LA. Family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 until 8 PM at Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, in Roseboro. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mt. Moriah United Methodist Church Building Fund, 692 Odum Road, Clinton, NC 28328.
