Faye Lewis Anderson

Mrs. Faye Lewis Anderson, 82 went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, September 14, 2025 at Praise Fellowship Church of God in Fayetteville, officiating will be Pastor Kevin Edwards. Burial will follow at Hope Mills Cemetery (4850 Legion Road, Hope Mills).

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 2:50 PM Sunday at the church prior to the service.

Faye and Russell met in high school and quickly became high school sweethearts. They got married right after graduating and had 63 wonderful years together. Faye was a longtime member of Praise Fellowship Church of God. She loved flowers, gardening, reading and most of all she loved her family. She was known for making the best homemade biscuits in town.

Faye was born in Cumberland County to the late, David Lewis and Hazel Smith Lewis.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 63 years, Russell Anderson of the home; children, Stewart Anderson of Fayetteville, Gayle Ducharme (Roland) of Dunbarton, NH, Stephen Anderson (Lesa) of Raeford, and Cristina Daniels of Lawrenceburg, TN; 11 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren, and 1 more great grandchild on the way.
