Mrs. Excie R. Bridges, 53

STEDMAN Mrs. Excie Ruth Cannady Bridges, 53, of 5025 White Pond Dr., Stedman, died Tuesday, September 4, 2007 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. She was the daughter of John E. Cannady and Dorothy Cannady. A funeral service will be held at 2 P.M. Friday, September 7 at Macedonia Baptist Church with the Rev. Sam Gore officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Robert Bridges of the home; one son, Robert Bridges, Jr. and wife Patricia of Stedman; one daughter, Tonya Wilbourne and husband Scott of Clinton; three brothers, John E. Cannady, Jr. of Vander, Roger Cannady of Vander and David Cannady of Vander; two sisters, Joyce Carter of Fayetteville and Juanita Smith of Vander; one grandson, Zane Wilbourne. The family will receive friends Thursday, September 6 from 7 to 9 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman.
