Mrs. Evelyn C. Tew, 86

WADE Mrs. Evelyn Collier Tew, 86 of 8009 Maxwell Road, died on Thursday, January 21, 2010 at Bethesda Health Care Facility in Eastover. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at LaFayette Memorial Park with Rev. Carrie W. Parrish officiating. Mrs. Tew was born on August 4, 1923 in Cumberland County to the late Johnnie Robert and Gladys Matthews Collier. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Tew. She worked as a Teacher with Public Schools. Mrs. Tew is survived by: her sister, Margaret C. Holland of Autryville. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home and other times at the home of sister: Margaret Holland, 1617 Libbie Road, Autryville.
