Mrs. Evelyn (Grantham) Jackson, 92 went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 7, 2022 surrounded by her family.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, April 10, 2022 at Calvary Tabernacle Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church with Reverend Wayne Johnson and Reverend Reece Fairfax officiating. The burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro.

Mrs. Jackson was a native of Sampson County, the daughter of Ruth and Mallie Knowles Grantham. She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, O B Jackson. Mrs. Jackson loved to go on bus trips with Wayne Weeks and she also, loved to help clean peas from the pea sheller for many years.

She leaves to cherish her many memories her son, Billy R. Jackson, Sr. and wife, Sharon of Roseboro; three daughters, Mary Lou Bass of Roseboro; Patty Beal and husband, Douglas of Clinton; and Twilla M. Boyette of Roseboro; nineteen grandchildren, twenty-nine great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren; and caregivers, Patricia Aycock and Barbara Ruggles.
