Mrs. Evelyn T. Huff, 86

FAYETTEVILLE Mrs. Evelyn Tew Huff, 86 of Fayetteville, passed away on Saturday, January 3, 2009 at Bethesda Health Care Center in Fayetteville. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at Butler Funeral Home at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Andy Wood officiating. Burial will follow at Hollands Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery. Mrs. Huff was born in 1922 in Sampson County to the late Lorenza and Lessie Royal Tew. She was retired. Mrs. Huff is survived by: five children, Violet "Vickie" Barrett of Raleigh, Andy Barrett of Asheville, Linda Broadwell of Beach Mountain, Ernestine Cross of Summerville, S.C., and Joey Huff of Wilmington; one brother, Charlie Tew of Fayetteville; 13 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Tuesday afternoon from 1 until 2 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, in Roseboro.
