Mrs. Eva Catherine Wood, 70

WADE Mrs. Eva Catherine Wood of Wade passed away at her home on Friday, August 23, 2013. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, August 25, 2013 in Butler Funeral Home Chapel in Stedman with Dr. Phil Spears officiating. A private burial will be held at a later date. Mrs. Wood was born May 30, 1943 in Hungary, the daughter of the late William Kondrath and Ilona Czegezi. She was Accounting Manager with Cumberland County Community Action Program. She is survived by her husband, Julian H. Wood of the home; son, Chris Torok (wife Cynthia) of Wade; daughter, Marie Spell (husband Rodney) of Willow Springs; grandchildren, Lauren Spell, Heather Spell and Taylor Torok; also her beloved dog, "Roseabell". A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, August 25, 2013 in Butler Funeral Home Chapel in Stedman with Dr. Phil Spears officiating. A private burial will be held at a later date.
