Mrs. Eva Lee Owens, 83

Roseboro Mrs. Eva Lee Owens, 83, of 533 Butler Island Road, passed away Monday at her home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 A. M. at Butler Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Honeycutt officiating. Burial will follow in Roseboro Cemetery. Mrs. Owens was a native of Sampson County and the daughter of the late Claudie and Nellie Gautier Faircloth. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph R. Owens. Mrs. Owens is survived by: daughter, Peggy Owens Deli, of Roseboro; three sisters, Irene Beasley, Nancy Joslin and Edna Matthews, all of Roseboro; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The family will recieve friends Tuesday from 6 till 8 P. M. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro.
