Mrs. Eva Mae (Lucas) Brock, 78 of Roseboro went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 17, 2024 at Johnston UNC Hospital.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, March 22, 2024 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro with the Reverend Hampton Faircloth officiating. The burial will follow at Pleasant Union Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 to 11:50 AM on Friday, March 22, 2024 at the funeral home prior to the service.

Mrs. Brock was a native of Sampson County, the daughter of Amon and Daisy Rockwell Lucas. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, George Brock.

She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Wayne Brock and wife, Tamara of Pine Level; four grandchildren, Jackson Brock and wife, Melanie of Stedman; Kasey Brock of Leland; Gabrielle Ray of Pine Level; and Ethan Ray of Pine Level; two sisters, Joyce Lucas Faircloth and Kathleen Lucas Carlisle both of Roseboro; one nephew and eight nieces.
