Mrs. Eva Lee Guyew, 81

EASTOVER, NC

Mrs. Eva Lee Guyew, 81 of 3460 Vance Melvin Road, Eastover, and formerly of Watertown, New York, passed away Thursday, December 3, 2015 at her home.

No services will be held.

She was born April 14, 1934 in Pender County, NC, and was the daughter of the late John William and Cola Edens Howard. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ewald Guyew; and brothers, Linwood Howard, JC Howard.

She formerly worked as a Waitress at Crystal Restaurant in Watertown, New York, until 1974. The Crystal Restaurant, the people she worked with and her customers continued to hold a special place in her heart.

She is survived by her sisters, Lois Hall of Eastover, Dorine Coffee of Penderlea; son, Lee Norris and wife Nancy of Eastover; daughter, Teresa Turturro and husband Tom of Stedman; and grandchildren, Stevie Washer, Corey Washer, Kevin Norris, Marie Smith.
