Mr. Eugene Douglas Faircloth, 61

FAYETTEVILLE Mr. Eugene Douglas Faircloth, 61 of 464 Rock Hill Road, died on Monday, September 5, 2011 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville. The funeral will be held on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at 3:00 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home with Rev. Marshal Howell officiating. Burial will follow at Fisher Cemetery in Stedman. Mr. Faircloth was born on July 2, 1950 in Cumberland County to the late Andrew and Retta Howell Faircloth. He is preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, A.F. Faircloth and Leo Faircloth. He worked as a chemical operator with Dupont Films. He is survived by: one son, Daniel Douglas Faircloth of Oak Island; one brother, Richard Faircloth of White Oak; and five sisters, Lucy Freeland of Florida, Sue Brown of Fayetteville, Diane Johnson of Stedman, Donna Vinson of Fayetteville and Tammy Bolton of Stedman. The family will receive friends on Wednesday afternoon from 1:30 to 3:00 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman.
