Mrs. Ethel Mae Thames

Eastover Mrs. Ethel Mae Thames, 77, of 3312 Beard Road, passed away Friday, Aug. 22, 2008 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2008 at 3 PM at Salem United Methodist Church with Dr. Bill Snotherly officiating. Mrs. Thames was the daughter of the late Arthur and Betty Anderson Thames and was preceded in death by a brother Horace Thames and a sister Aileen T. Johnson. Mrs. Thames is survived by: brother, Otis Thames, of Eastover; four nephews and five nieces. The family will recieve friends from 2-3 pm at the church on Wednesday and at the home.
