Mrs. Ethel (Butler) Hall, 89 went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 5, 2022 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at Pleasant Union Baptist Church with the Reverend Joey Dockery  officiating. The burial will follow at Butler Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 12:50 PM on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at the church prior to the service.

Mrs. Hall was a native of Sampson County, the daughter of Abner Fleet and Estelle Peterson Butler. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charlie Bart “C.B.” Hall, Jr.; and her daughter, Wanda Hall Johnson.

She leaves to cherish her memory  three daughters, Linda Hall Faircloth of Autryville; Jeanette Hall Nunnery of Autryville; and Hope Hall of Fayetteville; her son, Billy Winston Hall of Autryville; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; her brother, Jessie Paul Butler of Autryville; and her sister, Mary Johnson of Autryville.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Pleasant Union Baptist Church, 2300 Pleasant Union Road, Roseboro, NC 28382.
