Mrs. Estella D. Howell, 77

WHITE OAK Mrs. Estella Dee Howell, 77 of 2903 Tar Heel Ferry Road, died on Thursday, January 21, 2010 at the home of her son, 165 Doe Lane, Carthage. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 25, 2010 at 12:00 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home with Rev. Frank Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Main Post Cemetery, Ft. Bragg. Mrs. Howell was born on April 2, 1932 in Napoleon, Ohio, to the late Clarence B. and Marguerite Irene Bost Routt. She is preceded in death by: her husband, Chesley G. Howell, and one granddaughter, Kellie D. Cathey. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Howell is survived by: two daughters, Kathy P. Cathey of Charlotte, and Karin L. Roberts of Crocker, MO; three sons, Kevin M. Pentico of Swedeburg, MO, Kelly S. Howell of Carthage, and Steven A. Howell of York, SC; two sisters, Jaine Wilhite of Sun City, AZ, and Ann Keller of Crocker, MO; 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 5 until 7 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman. Arrangements by Butler Funeral Home, 6535 Clinton Road, Stedman.
