Mr. Ernest C. Faircloth, 64

SALEMBURG Mr. Ernest C. "Sambo" Faircloth, 64 of 245 Old Salemburg Road, died on Thursday, August 4, 2011 at the home of his sister, Darlene Cannady. The funeral will be held on Sunday, August 7, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Peniel Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Jeff Bartlett officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Faircloth was born on December 29, 1946 in Sampson County to the late Bruce and Bertha Sessoms Faircloth. He is preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Joyce Faircloth and Peggy Hodges. He worked with Denning Plywood for 29 years and with Roseboro Cotton Mill for 15 years. He is survived by: two daughters, April Tanner of Autryville and Patricia Faircloth of Dunn; five sisters, Darlene Cannady of Autryville, Betty Tanner of Godwin, Ruth Jackson, Helen Daniels and Geraldine Parker all of Salemburg; two brothers, Tommy Faircloth of Salemburg and Buddy Faircloth of Autryville; and six grandchildren, Casey, Katie, J.J., Brandon, Bryce and McKenzie. The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 7 to 9 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro and other times at the home of his sister, 6810 Autryville Road, Autryville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cape Fear Valley Home Care and Hospice, 1830 Owen Drive, Ste. 203, Fayetteville, NC 28304. Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 401 W.
