Mr. Ernest Elwood “Woody” Hall, Jr., 58 went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, October 10 at Mill Creek Baptist Church with the Reverend Tom Hayes and Reverend Eddie Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:30 - 2:50 PM at the church prior to the service.

Mr. Hall was a native of Sampson County, the son of Ernest Elwood Hall, Sr. and Betty Diane Hall. He was preceded in death by his father. He was an electrician for Halls Electric Service.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Jane Smith Hall of the home; son, Garrett Hall and wife, Olivia of Autryville; mother, Betty Hall and Phill Cannady of Roseboro; two sisters, Kim Hall Wanner and husband, Jim of Salemburg; and Kellie Hall Kuyat of Roseboro; two nieces, Laicon Kuyat and Kate Wanner; and nephew, John Wanner.
