Mrs. Ercell K. Matthews, 90

CLINTON Mrs. Ercell K. Matthews, 90 of 303 Harmony Church Road, died on Monday, September 3, 2007 at Mary Gran Nursing Center in Clinton. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 6, 2007 at Butler Funeral Home at 11 A.M. with the Rev. Rod Mullen and Rev. Lee Mereck officiating. Burial will follow in the Roseboro Cemetery. Mrs. Matthews was born in 1916 in Wake County to the late William Ezra and Beulah King. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Matthews is survived by: two daughters, Esther Mitchell and Julia Hall, both of Clinton; five grandchildren, Cecilia Burkeen, Camelia Parker, Norwood Hall, Scott Mitchell, and Karen Randleman; eight great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. Family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro.
