Emmett Murray Fogle, 70 passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.

Funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM Friday, January 22, 2021 at Butler Funeral Home Chapel in Stedman, officiating will be Rev. Wesley Pritchard.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 3:50 PM Friday at the funeral home prior to the service.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Norfolk, VA.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Emmett Webster Fogle and Mary Lucille Murray Fogle; sister, Karen Zezefellis; and brother-in-law, George.

He started working in 1970 at First Union Bank and became branch manager, and he continued his career as a branch manager at First Citizens Bank from 1989 to 2013.  He was also the president of Cape Fear Valley Hospital Board of Trustees; and was a member of Stedman Volunteer Fire Department Board of Directors.

He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Marsha S. Fogle; son, Jeff Fogle; grandson, Emmett Christopher Fogle; nephew, Michael Zezefellis (his wife, Morgan,and their child, Owen); niece, Heather Nicole Vanderpool (her husband, Bobby, and their children, Mason and Michael).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mr. Fogle's honor at Stedman Volunteer Fire Department, 5318 Front Street, Stedman, NC  28391.
