Mrs. Emma Faye Tew, 73

SALEMBURG

Mrs. Emma Faye Tew, 73 of 9389 Dunn Road, Salemburg, passed away Monday, May 11, 2015 at Southwood Nursing and Retirement Center in Clinton.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, May 14, 2015 at Union Grove Baptist Church, Salemburg, with Rev. Allen West officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Tew was born on August 5, 1941 in Sampson County to the late Horace and Cleo Honeycutt Fann. She worked as a caregiver.

She is survived by her husband, Ellis Tew of the home; daughter, Teresa Barber and husband Charles of Salemburg; granddaughter, Emily Barber of Salemburg; and two brothers, George Fann and Phill Fann both of Roseboro.

The family will receive friends following the service Thursday afternoon in the church fellowship hall and other times at the home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Union Grove Baptist Church, 395 Vander Road, Salemburg, NC 28385.
