Mrs. Elzora Jackson Spell, 95 of 5565 N. Salemburg Highway, passed away Sunday at Sampson Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 PM at Harnett Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Virgil Davis and Rev. Donald Keith Carter officiating. Burial will follow at Piney Green Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Spell was a native of Sampson County, the daughter of the late Ollen Blake and Ava Cordelia Naylor Jackson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Derwood Coleman Spell and was a homemaker.
Mrs. Spell is survived by: daughter, Jackie Spell McLamb, of Roseboro; three sons, Jimmie D. Spell, of Raleigh, Derwood K. "DK" Spell, of Clinton and Wayne Spell, of Monroe; sister, Carleen Barefoot, of Raleigh; sister-in-law, Evelyn Jackson, of Roseboro; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 9, 2006 from 7 till 9 PM at Butler Funeral Home, Roseboro.
