Mrs. Elsie Naylor Strickland, 82

Salemburg Mrs. Elsie Naylor Strickland, 82 of Salemburg, died Saturday, May 11, 2013 at SECU Hospice House of Johnston Health, Smithfield, NC with her three children, Gary, Wayne and Charmaine by her side. The funeral service will be held at Mintz Baptist Church on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at 2:00 PM with Dr. John McBride officiating. Burial will follow at the Harnett Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Harnett Church Road, Roseboro. She is predeceased by her husbands, J. F. Strickland and Delmus Naylor and grandchildren, Gary Edwin Naylor, Jr. "Little Gary" and John Thomas "J.T." Naylor. Elsie is survived by her children, Gary Edwin Naylor, Harry Wayne Naylor and wife, Sandi all of Salemburg, Charmaine Johnson and husband, Hubert of Benson and one step daughter, Marcella Bonner of Salemburg; her loving grandchildren, Sheila, Tony, Shannon, Beth, Chris, Carla, Emili, Trent, Joey and Morgan. She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Jessica, Carmen, Tristen, Alayna, Aaron, Ryan, Devon, Christopher, Elizabeth, Ethan, Logan, Lacey and Anthony. She was retired from Hamilton Beach and was the owner of Salemburg Grill and The Plea Bargain in Salemburg. Elsie loved her community and friends and was a member of Salemburg Baptist Church. She lived her life for her children and grandchildren whom she loved very much. She will be deeply missed by family and friends. The family would like to recognize the loving care provided by all her caregivers. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6-8 PM at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro. Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 401 W.
