Mrs. Elsie Jane Hall Autry, 92 of Autryville passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at her home.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, August 13 at the Hall-Autry Cemetery with Rev. Rufus Autry officiating. A walk through viewing will be held on Thursday, August 12 from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro.

Mrs. Autry was a native of Sampson County, the daughter of Lonnie Oliver and Vennie Faircloth Hall. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Vonnie Edgar Autry; son, David Autry; grandson, Matthew Eric Autry; and granddaughter, Jessica Marie Hocker.

She is survived by a daughter, Becky Stokes and husband, Joel of Autryville; two sons, Raymond Michael “Pee Wee” Autry and special friend, Kathy Blackman of Autryville and Eric Autry and wife, Audrey of St Pauls; daughter-in-law, Willa Dean Tyndall Autry of Autryville; two sisters, Doris Hall and Margie Hall both of Autryville; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

The family would like to offer a special thanks to all who cared for Elsie Autry during her illness.
