Mrs. Elsie Johnson Davis, 76 passed away Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

She was born March 18, 1940 in Sampson County to the late Daniel Tanner and Ethel Faircloth. She also preceded in death by a husband, L.D. Johnson.

She is survived by her husband, J.B. Davis of the home; daughters, Deborah Naylor & husband, Ronnie of Roseboro, and Lisa Carlisle of Roseboro; step daughter, Susie Beal & husband, Troy of Fayetteville; step sons, Steve Davis & wife, Marryann of Virginia and Joe Davis & wife, Kristen of Autryville; 12 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm Sunday, March 19, 2017 at Concord Baptist Church, officiating will be Rev. Larry West and Rev. Donald Davis. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 2:00pm to 3:00pm before the service.
