Mrs. Elma Mccorquodale Howard, 85

AUTRYVILLE Mrs. Elma McCorquodale Howard died Monday, January 8, 2007 in her home. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, January 10, 2007 at Union Grove Baptist Church near Salemburg, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Angus and Ila Ward McCorquodale, and a great-grandson, Charlie Jason "C.J." Barefoot, Jr. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Charlie Carson Howard; her children, Charles and Phyllis Daniels and Cathy Howard; her grandchildren, Todd and Jennifer Daniels, Jerry and Wendy Hair, Tracey Barefoot and Jason and Shannon Barefoot; six great-grandchildren, Brett, Karsyn, Case, Trent, Nicholas, and Hailey. She is also survived by two sisters, Ruby Curry and Geraldine Johnson; and three brothers, Earl McCorquodale, Billy McCorquodale, and Kenny McCorquodale. The family will receive friends and loved ones from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight, January 9, 2007 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro.
