Ms. Ellen Faye Horne, 77 went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 3, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at Macedonia Baptist Church, officiating will be Rev. Joe Hickson.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the church from 12:00 PM to 12:50 PM prior to the service.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Rev. James and Mable Louis Meacham; husband, Johnny Curtis Horne, Sr.; and her sister, Shirley McCormick.

Faye was a longtime member of Macedonia Baptist Church.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend who will truly be missed by all who knew her.

Faye leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Myra Boahn & husband, Mike of Stedman; son, Johnny Horne, Jr. & his wife, Kathy of Fort Worth, TX; niece, Kim Whetstine & husband, Paul of Rock Hill, SC; grandchildren, Michael Boahn, Jr. of Stedman, Ashley Boahn of Stedman, David Boahn & wife, Haley of Carthage, Kaleb Horne of Grays Creek, Zach Davis of Fort Worth; and 10 great grandchildren.
