ROSEBORO Mrs. Ellen Rich Hollingsworth, 94 of Autumn Wind Assisted Living and formerly of 5334 Fleet Cooper Road, died on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 27, 2010 at 3:00 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home with Rev. Andy Wood and Rev. Bobby Herring officiating. Burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Salemburg. Mrs. Hollingsworth was a native of Sampson County and was the daughter of the late Lalister Lott and Ida Williamson Rich. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Alfred Hollingsworth, two sisters, Maybell Greene and Estelle Rozier, and three brothers, Norman L. Rich, Preston Rich and Bruce Rich. She was a member of Andrews Chapel United Methodist Church and was the owner and operator of Hollingsworth Grocery. She is survived by: her sister-in-law, Elizabeth Parker Rich of Clinton; twelve nieces and ten nephews; and numerous great nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Saturday afternoon from 2 to 3 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Andrews Chapel United Methodist Church, PO Box 8, Roseboro, NC 28382. Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 401 W.
