Mrs. Ella Mae Holland Tyndall, 90

August 21, 1923 — July 12, 2014

SALEMBURG Mrs. Ella Mae Holland Tyndall, 90 of 3576 Tyndall Bridge Road, Salemburg, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at her home after a long illness. The funeral will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Sunday, July 13, 2014 at Holland's Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Billy Hall, Rev. Paul Honeycutt and Rev. Allen West officiating. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, July 14, 2014 at the Tyndall Family Cemetery, Salemburg. Mrs. Tyndall was born on August 22, 1923 in Sampson County to the late William Thomas and Jeronie Williams Holland. She is preceded in death by her parents; seven brothers, William Edgar, Charles Tillmon, Leroy, Lottis, Randolph, Ervin and Crosby Holland; and four sisters, Eloise Howard, Angie Honeycutt, Cleo Butler and Arizona Canady. She was a retired Seamstress from Top Mode and she also worked at Artistic Weaving, Bunce's Wholesale, Len Howell, Clinton Apparel, and was the caregiver to her husband to his death. She was loved and appreciated for all her skills of sewing for others as well as for the Pastry she had rolled and packaged for family and friends. She was known for her many pumpkin rolls she was able to make for others. She was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church as a child and later became an active member of Holland's Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church where she was an active member of the Lady's Auxiliary and was the Treasurer of the Adult Sunday School Class. She is survived by: three children, Carolyn Tyndall McClellan and husband, Steve of Autryville, David Alton Tyndall and wife, Cornelia of Fayetteville, and Maedean Tyndall Honeycutt and husband, Tony of Salemburg; six grandchildren, Ginger, Jeffery, Sheila, Brad, Sammy and Lana; eleven great grandchildren, Ashley, Madeline, Bryson, Harrison, Katherine, Samantha, Elise, William, Josh, R.J., and Allen; one great-great granddaughter, Addison; three step-grandchildren, Anthony, Tara and Joseph; eight step-great grandchildren, Anthony, Grace, Elise, Lucy, Olivia, Makayla, Chloe and Ethan; one sister-in-law, Lula Mae Tyndall of Salemburg; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening following the service at Holland's Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church, 2069 Huntley School Road, Roseboro, and other times at the home.
