Mrs. Elizabeth Faircloth Page, 89 of 4397 Welcome School Road, died Tuesday Nov. 21, 2006 at Mary-Gran Nursing Center in Clinton.
Funeral services will be held on Friday Nov. 24, 2006 at 3 P.M. at Baptist Chapel Church with the Rev. Alan Roberts and Rev. Ira Sutton officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Page was a native of Sampson County, and the daughter of the late Judge Carson Faircloth, Sr., and Ida Jane Jolly Faircloth. She is preceded in death by her husband, Preston Page;two brothers, Jesse Wright Faircloth and James Franklin Faircloth; and three sisters, Ida Mae Stewart, Frances Maureen Wrench, and Thelma Blanche Nunnery. She worked as a teacher's aide in the Sampson County School System for years. She was a member of Baptist Chapel Church where she taught a Sunday School class for years.
Mrs. Page is survived by: one daughter, Norma Howard and husband Thomas, of Autryville; three sons, Larry M. Page and wife Edith Marie of Fayetteville, Layton E. Page and wife Patsy of Godwin, and Craig Page and wife LaRue of Godwin; one brother, J.C. Faircloth, Jr. of Stedman; and eight grandchildren, Rev. Steven Page, Mark Page, Darryl Howard, Kevin Howard, Terra Beth Register, Brandi Edge, Amy Slaughter, and Julie Jordan; 11 great-grandchildren, Bethany Howard, Savannah Howard, Lauren Cochran, Nolan Howard, Jacob Register, Jaron Register, Grace Slaughter, Luke Slaughter, Camille Slaughter, Daniel Page, and Daelyn Addie Edge.
Family will receive friends Thursday evening from 7 until 9 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro, and other times at the home of Thomas and Norma Howard, 1315 Howard Road, Autryville.
