Mrs. Elizabeth Robinson Norris, 81

CYPRESS CREEK, NC Mrs. Elizabeth Robinson Norris, 81 of 905 Davis Road, died on Sunday, April 17, 2011 at Mary Gran Nursing Center in Clinton. The funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at Riverside Baptist Church in Harrells. Burial will follow at the Norris Family Cemetery in Cypress Creek. Mrs. Norris was born on May 25, 1929 in Sampson County to the late James Crow and Ila Smith Robinson. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Fred H. Norris and Billy Norris; her daughter-in-law, Brenda Gail Norris; one son-in-law, Jerry Eugene Hudson; one grandson, Charlie Lee Thomas Carroll; her step-daughter, Linda Norris Bennet; one sister, Christine Smith; and her brother, George Robinson. She is survived by: four daughters, Karon Hudson of Garland, Virginia Nunnery and husband, Kenneth of Autryville, Wilma Clayton and husband, John of Wilmington and Suzette Bibbs and husband, Richard of Cypress Creek; her son, Fred M. Norris of Cypress Creek; two step-children, William Ray Norris of Winston-Salem and Martha Norris of Fayetteville; one sister, Dorcus Ann Norris of Cary; eight grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren; and a very special friend, Curtis Faircloth of Fayetteville. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home, Roseboro, and other times at the home. Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 401 W.
