Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Naylor Smith, 80 of Roseboro went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 11, 2024 at her home.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at Freedom Baptist Church with Rev. Adam Capps and Rev. John Cuthill officiating.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 1:50 PM at Freedom Baptist Church on Wednesday prior to the service.

Mrs. Smith was a native of Sampson County, the daughter of Johnny Rosen and Gertrude Royal Naylor.  She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Robbie Cashwell; five brothers, Clarence (Bo) Naylor, Carson (Buddy) Naylor, R V (Dick) Naylor, Robbie Leroy (Bobbie) Naylor and Prentice Maxton (PeeWee) Naylor; and a sister, Mary Emma Williams.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Smith of the home; three daughters, Donna Byrd of Clinton, Wanda Pearson and husband, Terry of Clinton, and Angie Caprise and husband, Bob of Windermere, FL; one son, Dewayne Cashwell of Roseboro; three sisters, Doris Harris and husband, William of Clinton, Gail Lennon and husband, Mitch of Myrtle Beach and Vinnie Cannady of Clinton; one brother, A C. Naylor and wife, Sandra of Roseboro; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
