Elbert NG Morgan, 85 went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 09, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family.
Funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM Sunday, August 13, 2023 at Butler Funeral Home Chapel in Stedman, officiating will be Pastor Eddie Wood. Burial will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Saturday, August 12, 2023 at the funeral home.
Elbert is preceded in death by his parents, Elden Morgan and Essie Mae Herring; his wife, Nola Carolyn Morgan; brothers, Luther Eldon Morgan and Malcolm Ray Morgan; and a sister, Alma Jean Phillips.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his sons, Franklin Morgan & wife, Yvonne and Mitchell Kevin Morgan & wife, Senia; daughter, Carolyn Renee John & husband, Jeffrey; sister, Catherine Andrews; grandchildren, Alex, Frank, Ashley, Katie, Jordan, Pasley, Sarah, Lindsey, Noah and Camilla; and 5 great grandchildren, Nola, Avery, Ellie, Brexley and Magnolia.
Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 6535 Clinton Road, Stedman, NC 28391.
